Together, we will Build Bridges toward greater Unity, toward the Beloved Community. This group provides a brave place for our online community to understand the consequences of racism and our personal biases through deep listening and sharing. We will support each other to take actions, small and large, to heal ourselves and our communities from generations of trauma caused by racism. We will build trust, have respectful conversations where everyone can speak their truth without being attacked, and provide a language to discuss racism. We ask everyone to have an open mind and be willing to change. We will have Empathy Staff and Calming Rooms, as needed. Each session will have education about racism and ways to build community. Everyone who registers will need to agree to a set of Group Guidelines and commit to attending at least 4 consecutive sessions. We are all in this together.

Expected outcomes:

1. Gain skills in deep listening and respectful communication.

2. Gain an understanding of ways to mitigate racism.

3. Learn and practice ways of building community with all people.
