NONVIOLENCE
IN ACTION
Phoenix Peacebuilders is looking to build and grow a beloved community, through both education and action, where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Our goal is to reduce violence and create more justice. As we transform violence where it exists we create peace within ourselves, our family, our friends, and our community.
Mission & Vision.
Our mission is to help the beloved community heal from generations of trauma by creating positive change from within. We promote the principles of Kingian Nonviolence and conflict resolution. In this community, there is racial equity, economic justice, and reconciliation. We achieve these outcomes by using the art and the sciences of indigeneity and Kingian nonviolence and conflict reconciliation.
At times, outward demonstrations such as protests or other forms of civil action are necessary while always leaving a path open to reconciliation. In any case, our organization aims to help the beloved community cultivate the skills to heal from trauma by first identifying and addressing its causes in a healthy way.
